Congratulations to Steve Wahlberg, one of the founding Partners of the Denver Trial Lawyers, for receiving this year's Professionalism Award from the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (CDLA).

Every year CDLA and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) each select one member from the opposite side of the aisle who exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism.

The awards ceremony and a special Ethics CLE event will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Room 165, starting at 4:00 pm.

During the event, CTLA will also honor this year's recipient from the Defense Bar, Scott Nixon, of Nixon Shefrin Hensen Ogbum, P.C. Wahlberg and Nixon will take questions regarding practical ways to blend civility into a litigation practice.

This special event will be held in honor of Legal Professionalism Month and is open to all members of the Bar.

Wahlberg said, “I am truly honored to win this award from my adversaries. I believe we can represent our clients compassionately and aggressively -- while maintaining our integrity. Professionalism comes from within."
